Why "The REALLY Real Curious Crow"? Because I've been "The Curious Crow" since 1999, when I began crafting one-of-a-kind soft-sculptures. Yet, despite over 10 years of a web presence, there seem to be more "Curious Crow[s]" popping up all the time. Antique dealers, bloggers, painters, tchotchkes pushers, and gamers seem to gravitate to my handle without the good college-try of Googling. Accept no substitutes--do they have crow tracks tattooed on their foot? I do!. ;)

Challenge Day Six. The One That Reminds Me of Somewhere.
Back in 1994, my new husband and I escaped Southern California to honeymoon in Hope Valley, CA, at a wonderful place called Sorenson's (see my waaaay old review here: "Well, You're Gonna Need a Place to Stay" circa 2000). All the way up, while there, and all the way back down to reality, we played Nirvana's MTV Unplugged in New York album (diehard Nirvana fans since the Bleach album, we'd finally seen Nirvana at their In Utero concert, months before Kurt's death). One song, in particular, was played most and will therefore (even though it seems odd) always remind me of my perfect honeymoon place with the falling snow, myriad trees, and complimentary glasses of wine each evening, with the man who's still perfect for me after all these years.
