Challenge Day Two. The Least Favorite.

Here I go again, because there are two.
(There, honestly may be at least two throughout the whole challenge.)
"Poker Face" by Lady Gaga--My dislike of Gaga is legendary in my house, to the point that if her name comes up (you'd be surprised), the inside joke between my husband and me is to look one another in the eye, grin, and start out the infamous joke: "How do you wake Lady Gaga up?" (the answer: You poke 'er face.)  This song gets under my nerve and grates it so I want to contort.  I feel dirty just having it up on my blog.

"Have a Nice Day" by Bon Jovi--First of all, I've *never* seen the appeal of Bon Jovi, but this is just such a non-rocker song for a "rock band," I can't stand it.  Have a nice day???  What is that?!  I even took the time to watch the video that had the lyrics for this this one (played, happily, on mute), to see if I was missing something.  I've seen the same theme written in a much deeper way, sung in a much more believable way, and I can't get past "When the world gets in my face, I say, 'Have a nice day.'"  Well, okay, how very Mild...I mean Wild One of you--that's pretty fierce.  I have more to say, but I know that at least one or two of my visitors love this band, so I'm going to stop and remember the adage "If you can't say something nice..."

There.  I feel much better now.  Tomorrow brings the song that makes me happy.  :)
